该系列收放装置运用快速脱钩、减振缓冲、阻尼减摆 、智能托架、波浪补偿等技术，通过多核可编程控制系统，实现在5级海况下安全快速平稳地收放小艇。
该系列收放装置有3种结构形式：固定式 、伸缩式和双点式。
